Animatics

Titles 

The font used in our animistic is called: 

It was developed out of the Serif family of font. The use of a font that was developed due to the Serif family is good for such a the genre that the group and I have chosen which is Thriller because the Chaparral Pro font is not fancy like some fonts so it adds a sense of seriousness to the whole sequence. The size of the font can also hint to the audience that these are starting credits because the tittles are big and demand the audiences attention which helps to settle them down.

What we need to improve on: When the class watched our animatic a few things needed to be changed and these where that the titles of our opening sequence were too fast. I agree with this because it is hard for the audience to even finish reading one name then the frame changes to another, this is something that we will be definitely thinking about when putting together our final draft. Another thing was that the music was not in sync with the image on screen which then confuses the audience watching it- this then takes their attention away from the movie and they start thinking about where everything is actually meant to be and that is not what we want as a group. We want the audience to be paying attention to the movie and to enjoy it as well. It was also difficult for the class to understand the narrative in some parts and this could be down to the images drawn and how they are not clear enough for audience to try and make out what is going on. An editing error that we had made was that we did not crop the shots to fit the screen which is important because it looks like there is a space missing.We have cropped the frames and the one above is the edited version.
