Vox Pop Analysis 

• What do you expect from a thriller opening sequence? From this question we found out that the audience wants to be kept on edge with the opening, an action packed beginning. Our target audience also wanted an introduction to characters as well as setting. Do due to this information we have decided that we will show most of our characters in the opening sequence but we will not give away their role therefore keeping the audience on edge plus we will be able to give an establishing shot of the setting.

• How do you want a thriller to make you feel? Most of the people said that they wanted a thriller to scare them thought not immensely because it is not horror. Due to this we will be showing some gruesome images in our opening sequence but they will not be outrageously disgusting. For e.g we will be showing some blood but we will not be showing what happened to the person for them to bleed.  

• What do you expect the main character to look like? Most people said that they wanted to be able to relate to the characters so not a typical cliche overly handsome man but just someone who looks normal. 
 

• How old do you expect the character to be? Across the board most people expected the main character to look over 18 and mature sure that it is more realistic. 
 

• Where would you expect it to be set? Most people said that they would like it set somewhere isolated or scary to add to the feel. Because of that response our opening sequence will be set in an alley way to reflect the views of an isolated area.
