Sound Planning

This is a good sound for the genre that we chose which is thriller plus it fits in well with the scene that has a group of people walking away from the scene of the crime which shows that they are nervous, this would make the audience sit on the edge of their seats because this sound helps build tension.

The sound of the water dripping is key to our sequence because it will be the first sound the audience hears and we need it to grasp their attention and keep them interested, i think this will do the job as it is loud and attention grabbing.

All the sounds used in this sequence are sting sound devices because they shock the audience and grabs their attention. They all also set the tone of the thriller, they make the opening sequence more scary and adventurous just like how a thriller should be.

This will be the sound used through out our sequence - it has an eerie feel to it and suits the genre of thriller well.
