Preliminary Task 26/Sept/2013

The following blog post will be about the first ever Preliminary task done while doing AS Media Studies.
What went well?
1)The best point on continuity editing that we managed to keep up well was the use of the 180 degree rule, we followed it well through out the whole clip and therefore kept the clip moving along well.
2)As a group we made sure that the camera was always in focus therefore making it clear to the audience what exactly is going on.
3)The use of the establishing shot was used well because it got to reflect the character relationships.

Even Better If...
1)We had used extreme close ups while the characters were having a conversation instead of mid shots to highlight their facial expressions.
2)If we had the music fading out instead of it just stopping when they start talking.                               3)The the camera movement at 0:13-0:14 seconds was smoother.
